Pricing
How Sawa pricing works
Every engagement is quoted after a 30-minute intro call. Here is what shapes the quote, so you know what to expect before you book.
The short version
Sawa does not publish a rate card. The price follows the scope: which of the three jobs you need (grow, engage, convert), how much goes out in a normal month, and where you are starting from. You get a written quote after one call, as a fixed-price project or a monthly retainer.
What shapes the quote
- Which jobs are in scope. Growing the list (lead magnets, signup pages, LinkedIn to email), keeping it reading (newsletters and LinkedIn content), or converting it (launch, event and re-engagement campaigns). One job costs less than three.
- Volume in a normal month. A weekly newsletter is four issues a month plus the welcome emails around it. A launch is usually three to six emails over a few weeks. The quote names the count.
- Where you start. A company with no list, no signup path and no welcome sequence needs a build before anything can be sent. A company with a working list and a flat open rate needs a different first month.
- Platform work. Setting up or moving an email platform, wiring automations and connecting a signup page is scoped on its own, so the writing work is not priced twice.
- Who is on the client side. A founder reviewing drafts in one email thread is faster than a three-person approval chain. The review process is agreed on the call and written into the quote.
Two engagement shapes
A scoped project
Fixed price, fixed deliverables, a delivery date. A recent example, with the client anonymised: an audience survey, a five-email welcome sequence routed by the survey answers, one lead magnet and the full build in the client's email platform. Kickoff on a Monday, first drafts on day four, live on day 17 after two review rounds.
A monthly retainer
Ongoing work with a named monthly output: the newsletter issues, the LinkedIn posts, the campaigns on the calendar and a monthly review of what people replied to, clicked and booked. Retainer terms are stated in the proposal before anything is signed.
What is never charged for
- The intro call and the written quote.
- Your own list, content and accounts. They stay yours, in your tools, during and after the engagement.
- Handover. When an engagement ends you get every asset, a recorded walkthrough of the automations, and nothing left hosted by Sawa.
How to get a figure for your situation
Book the call below. Come with three things if you have them: your current list size, the email platform you use, and the one outcome you want in the next quarter (a launch, a full dinner, a newsletter people open). You will have a written quote within two business days of the call.

Questions people ask on the call
Why is there no price list?
The scope sets the price, and the scope is different for a company with no list and one with 20,000 subscribers and a newsletter already running. A single rate card would overcharge one of them. A 30-minute call is enough to scope most engagements, and the quote follows in writing.
What are the two engagement shapes?
A scoped project with a fixed price and a delivery date, such as a welcome sequence, a lead magnet and the platform setup. Or a monthly retainer for ongoing work, such as a newsletter that goes out every week plus the campaigns around it. Many clients start with a project and move to a retainer once the first piece is live.
What is included in a quote?
The deliverables by name, the number of emails or issues in a normal month, who does the work, the review rounds, and what is excluded. If something is not on the list, it is not in the price.
Is there a minimum term?
Projects have none. Retainers are agreed on the call and stated in the proposal before anything is signed.
Who owns the list, the content and the accounts?
The client, always. The work is built inside the client's own email platform and CRM. When an engagement ends, every asset is handed over with a recorded walkthrough and nothing stays hosted by Sawa.
